European Maritime Day 2023
Category:NewsThe 2023 edition of the European Maritime Day, an annual two-day event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy, will take place during 24-25 May 2023 in Brest, France.
The European Maritime Day 2023 is organised by the European Commission, the Metropole of Brest, the Secretariat General for the Sea, the Region of Brittany and the department of Finistère and it features thematic sessions, stakeholder workshops and pitch sessions.
Professionals from businesses, governments, public institutions, NGOs and academia as well as EU citizens interested in the Sea are invited to participate.
Invertebrates’ aquaculture: towards circular model (Workshop 5) and sustainable aquaculture for the 21st century (Workshop 18) are among the topics covered.
There will also be available a live streaming of the following sessions:
– Opening Session
– EC high level panel session on a new approach to a Sustainable Blue Economy, which includes topics as: energy transition of fisheries and aquaculture; algae.
