Status and trends of inland fisheries in Europe is an EIFAAC (European Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture Advisory Commission) occasional paper describing the status of inland fisheries in the European region and its sub-regions, based on information and data drawn from statistics reported to FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) as well as additional national sources.
