Inspire – Restorative Aquaculture Course
Category:NewsEIT FOOD is organising a 3-week intensive programme providing training and theory in seaweed farming, finfish, shellfish and algae biology, culturing, growth and molecular and metabolite analysis. The Inspire Restorative Aquaculture Course will take place from the 23rd September until the 25th October 2024, led by The Seaweed Academy at SAMS, UK in partnership with the Polish Academy of Science.
Although no formal qualifications are required, attendance is based on an application containing a description of the delegates’ reasons to attend the course. Ideally, the organisers are looking for Masters Students, PhD students, Posts-Docs, young professionals or aspiring entrepreneurs interested in aquaculture.
The course will be held in person at SAMS in Oban, Scotland. Prior to and following the in-person event, some content will be delivered online.
