Category:News

The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) has organized a series of events designed to tackle some of the world’s biggest issues concerning sustainable fisheries, aquaculture, human impact on oceans, and marine and coastal ecosystems. So far, there have been seven Fish Night events bringing together people from academia, government, NGOs, fisherworkers’ collectives, associations and networks to discuss issues regarding sustainable fisheries, aquaculture and oceans governance.

Fish Night 8 will take place on 28 Mar 2023, during 14:00 – 15:15 EEST, online, via Zoom, allowing the participants to discuss on the importance of the small-scale fisheries and aquaculture sectors and to explore opportunities for supporting small-scale actors to overcome challenges and contribute to sustainable development.
